I'm new to the whole subwoofer and amp thing, I drive 2012 dodge Bighorn quad can with the storage compartments under the rear seats, and was curious of people's setups as for where their amp was and what amp and what box and subs and how they have it set up, and how hard it was to wire it, and if it'd be worth getting a new head unit, much appreciated!

^^^ what he said.

Been kinda slow around here. We're all willing to throw fuel to the audio fire. Maybe start by giving us a round about budget. And your preference as to what music u like and how do u like to listen to it. Loud as fck? Tons of bass? Nice well balanced highs and lows?

I don't want to go and spend over a thousand dollars for a system, I listen to all kinds, mainly rap rock country, and I'm looking for something with bass that hits hard and deep. I typically have my volume up around the 20-25 range so if that tells you anything

Sounds like a subwoofer/amplifier/sub enclosure will fit the bill

Fox box vented single side or dual would be an easy drop in solution for you that will be nice and loud or you can get a little more complicated and fiberglass something crazy like Bradknob is doing right now. Either way PM me and I can help on the sub and amp part.
