Third Brake Light

whats everyone running for aftermarket? im sick of mine blowing out the bulb because water gets in it. Ive even had it to the dealer and they claim they resealed it better buts its crap. i prefer something stockish looking. any help would be appreciated!

Is it an aftermarket brake light assembly? That's messed up if they wont fix it. You could always put a small bead of silicone around the edge. Not gonna leak after that, and it isn't hard to remove.

That's what I'd do too. Hell even remove the light yourself and run a bead on the seam, let it dry and then do a bead between the light housing and truck and tighten it down.

I nabbed a LED one on eBay, its with the painter right now. I got sick and tired of the brake light blowing too........

and......I wanted LED and tinted.

ive had it there 3 times and they claim they did all that with the silicone.....looks like ill be doing that myself. and yes the bulbs keep getting wet and blowing. anyone have the recon one on their truck with a pic?
