Third gen seats

Does anyone know if third gen seats will fit in the fourth gens? I can get a great buy on some and my drivers seat is worn out. Thanks

That would be worse as a previous 3rd gen owner and having worked on many the 3rd gen seats simply suck. The driver seat wears out much faster than the 4th gen seats thts why the 3rd gen guys always want to put 4th gen seats in their trucks. But yes the front seats are a straight swap for the most part but are slightly narrower. Honestly if your seat is worn out get a new cushion and cover and fix it you'll be happier in the long run.

Thank you for your reply. I was looking at the seats just as an inexpensive alternative. I didn’t realize that they had changed so much between third and four gen. I appreciate the advice and will hold off and get the fourth gen seats fixed properly.

I agree, they suck in every way imaginable. I'm glad mine are wearing out so I can buy some good aftermarket racing buckets for mine.
