Barrel nut and the flaming flaming pig (Flash Suppressor).Where are you putting anti-seize on an ar at? Barrel extension?
Nice! I have always used a dab of grease on the barrel nut, and a little rocksett depending on the muzzle device I am using.Barrel nut and the flaming flaming pig (Flash Suppressor).
Tell me about it. I was a Tractor/Trailer Mechanic for eighteen years and used that on everything and you just cannot even look at that stuff without it getting everywhere.
I'm surprised you're still around to tell us that trick about the hardhatA few of my favorite pranks back when I was running service was never seize on the door handle of the truck and pulling back the sweat band of another mechanics hardhat and putting a dollop of Prussian blue in there

I still have some of that stuff as well as inletting blk, when I was doing gunstocks and suchreminds me of this stuff we used when i was a toolmaker. One small dab on someone's tool box handle would spread to the clothes, hands, face, shoes, anywhere you touched. It was a mean way to prank someone.

I vouch for the verity of this statement. And double baggy it before you put it in the toolbox.Nice! I have always used a dab of grease on the barrel nut, and a little rocksett depending on the muzzle device I am using.
Can't bring the bottle of anti-seize into the house or it'll be everywhere LOL
I never got punk'd by the guys in the machine shop with this stuff but I saw it happen a few times.reminds me of this stuff we used when i was a toolmaker. We had a couple manual surface grinders next to the CNC OD grinders in the shop I worked at when I was in high school. Occasionally, the old guys used to put hi-spot on the handles to mess with the younger guys.
Funny enough, in my 20+ years in machine shops now, I have rarely seen this stuff used in a professional manner.
I used it on my last 3 Ar builds on the barrel nut...not the suppressor though...that top one is a real tack driver.the camo one is a garbage do anything sh** I dont care about gun,the spiral barrel one is the wifes.i also have a 4th Windham Weaponry that is just a dream to shoot, flawless, never failed no matter what ammo I put through it....I love talking guns.Barrel nut and the flaming flaming pig (Flash Suppressor).
