Just got this in the mail today.
Kinda weird, I didn't buy my truck there and only had the recall work done. So it just seems kinda personal. Like I have the only 09 in Louisiana. lol

I love my 09 (especially the color) but would love a 8 speed and the newer interior.

at the same I really not sure if I want a truck still. Kinda wanna go back to the fast 4dr. Scat pack or Hellcat Charger..:naughty::naughty:

Sales trick to get you in the dealership.
I get them on my 2008 Tacoma and 2012 4runner every so often.
Funny thing is I haven't owned the Tacoma in 3 1/2 years or the 4runner in 2 years.
Take the letter in, see what they offer, BET it isn't as good as letter says

Just my 2 cents worth

There's a high demand for 09-12 Rams with low mileage and good condition.

I sold my Ram back to the dealer and they had a buyer come in and put a deposit down in under 20 minutes and it was gone the next day. I got some very good equity towards my new car.

Probably not legit, but worth checking out at least. The dealer can't force you to stay at the dealership haha. Go in, see if you want to, leave if you don't (assuming you don't mind spending an hour or two checking).

It's a marketing tool that EVERY dealership uses. I get those stupid "forwarded" emails from the Hyundai dealer in Spokane at least twice a year. It's as legit as every other spam email you get.

It's a marketing gimmick... However, if you are looking for an excuse to get a new truck, let me know. I can revise what I said and make it what you wanna hear! ;) LOL:favorites13:

I got a similar sales letter from the local dealership too (with the "personalized" post-it note). So I wrote him back, explaining I'd moved to Nigeria and recently come into great wealth as a member of the Nigerian Royal family and that if he could ship a loaded 2015 Ram Sport to me in Nigeria, I'd pay triple (when it arrived) by transferring payment to him from a secret international bank account. All I needed was his banking information and passwords.

Haven't heard anything back yet.

It's a way to get you on the phone or into the dealership. I get them all the time, as often as we get them you would think they would close the doors if they don't get our car.... They use to call all the time, I got calls monthly until I ripped into one of the sales guys after asking politely to the 4-5 previous guys to take me off there list. 6 months later no calls guess it worked.

Yes, here's my bank account number. I will be waiting for that money wire. lol

I've gotten some random flyers in the mail and those ones with a key. Come in and see if it starts the car..lol
But I looked at this one and was like this is pretty creative. Even a real sticky note..haha...

The last time I went to this dealer it was a fun experience. Giving me the run around on a car I wanted. Called said it was there, showed up. It was'nt, waited for 45min. Then they was only going to give me the 10K off is I used their financing.

Probably not worrying about it, I hate going to the dealership.

I wouldn't bother with feeling too special about this. Hundreds, if not thousands of people received the same "personalized" letter from the dealership. Anyone that passed through there the last x number of years got one. I get them all the time from dealers I've bought from or went in for service, they all go straight into the trash. It's all a ploy to get you to the dealership.

The deals they are offering are available elsewhere, if they gave you the runaround before, I'd shop somewhere else.

Notice it says up to? Doesn't matter how much you get for your trade or how good of a price on the car you are buying, it is how good you get on both ends and the difference between the two.
