2015 ram 1500 5.7. had three way heater failure four months ago code p26a7. replaced valve with cheap one from amaxzon, that worked for two days - returned. purchased a $150 valve from rock auto which worked for four months now again getting error code - just out of valve 120d warranty. could there be another issue, or am i just getting bad valves - mopar part is very expensive (290usd) for what is seemingly a simple part.

thoughts?

There usually problems reported about 3rd party parts for these trucks, not just the 3-Way valve. It wouldn't be surprising if the fix will be using the OEM part.
An FYI the 2015 model year can be funky about the electrical parts you use. There are some of the modules in this model year that 2015 year specific where as other years encompass multiple years.
