Hey guys, I don't know much about cars but I can learn quickly. Recently my truck started stalling a lot every time that I put it in reverse. So I did some research and saw that I might need to clean out the throttle body. So I did. I sorta did a half assed job (imo) but at least the truck didn't stall anymore and ran better! I was happy, but at the same time the check engine light came on. I was like "Crap! Did I mess something up!?" So I took it to go get it checked out and I was told that it was the TPS... Now long question short... Is it possible to put the TPS back on wrong? Because I've read that some vehicles have require you to put it on a certain way, while others do not...

When you took it off did you ensure it was put on the same way? Considering it controls the position at which the blade is open in the throttle I would imagine it would have to be on a certain way or else it would get the spot wrong, as it is programmed for a certain starting position.

Well I put it back on in the right position, but I'm not sure about the blade part on the inside... and what do you mean that at 7oclock position 05singlecabHEMI? How would I go about doing that?

Yea I imagine that someone should know because I've seen a few throttle body posts and well if you replace the throttle body you have to take off the throttle positioning sensor and put it back on correctly... :D
