ticking noise

i have ticking noise that comes on only when im in drive at about 1500 and til it shifts. is this what you guys call the hemi tick. just wanted to make sure it wasnt anything wrong. just got the truck 2 weeks ago btw its a 07 hemi

Welcome to RF. And yes it would most likely be the "hemi tick" my truck has it. I'm goin to be installing headers soon so that will solve the problem if your wanting to do the same in the future.
