Ticking

hey guys
I have a 14 ram and noticed it has a slight tick. It’s nothing crazy and goes away. Idk if this could be a lifter or possible exhaust leak due to the Duration is lasts. I’m bringing to dealership cause I’m at 59100 miles. Any help would be great that I could verify what it is.

If it goes away in a few seconds then its lifter tick and if it takes a minute or two its broken exhaust manifold bolts.

Easy thing is to check the manifold bolts to make sure they are not broke then that can be ruled in or out.

Yes it is covered under the 5 year/100K mile powertrain warranty and if any dealer gives you grief over it I'd find another.

For some reason I thought I was a 5yr/60k. Thank god! I was concerned I would be pressed for time.

Yeah they didn't cut it back to 60K until the 2016 M/Y. Good luck!

Search Hemi Tick, there is plenty of info here it is covered daily. Some dealers call it "normal" but it isn't. Go down fussing if your dealer says that **** is normal. Look at h395's thread on "quieting hemi tick" if the dealer doesn't help you. good luck
