Plan B?????

So - it looks like I'm SOL getting anything like a set of Moogs:( And it also sounds like the factory set-up is simply a POS:(

Is there a plan B? Does any other aftermarket company make a decent set to fit my 07???? (Yeh - I could search forever - or simply ask the wisdom of the list:)

Time is sort of important. Am scheduled for replacement at the dealership on Monday morning - so I can cancel out anytime today or tomorrow morning if I get a good source. Any and all input greatly appreciated.

TIA

Rancho part number 602616 replaces inner tie rod and part number 602614 is the tie rod end for ALL '06-'08 1500s except MegaCab, of course.
A lot beefier than the stock ones and the ends have grease fittings. I ain't sure if they sell them as separate items, but they come with the lift kit. Worth a call to find out, though IMO.

I had a tie rod end go recently (but I did get six years out of it) and they sent me TWO for FREE, six years after install. So I know they can ship at least the ends by themselves. Just remember, you'd need to get the inner tie rod as well, since these ends are larger than the stock ones.

That rancho part number ONLY works with the rancho inner tie rod for the 07s.

No matter how many times some one says other wise, the 07 outer tie rod has a different thread pitch than previous years.

Notice no one with an 07 has come on and listed a part number they used that worked?

No disrespect intended, I just want to make sure we are giving correct information.

That is why I included THIS statement...
I don't know of ANY tie rod ends that work on an '07 without replacing the inner tie rods short of Mopar original part. I agree with you, 'Froggy, I doubt any exist...

Got a boy on another forum who has an '07 Ram 1500 SLT QCSB 4x4, says he bought Moog ES80574 and they fit fine. He bought at O'Reillys. I can't verify this over what he told me in a PM, but he says they worked...
