OK. Here goes. I did my best to do due diligence before I bought my 2015 RAM 1500 3.6 last year. I'd like to avoid problems before they become actual ones, so here's what I'd like to know. First, I don't trust my selling dealer, as its used sleight of hand and BS all along when I knew better; I'm now outside the 'new owner' window of purchase, so I want to have someone outside the dealer do the work (ASE only, though). (BTW, know that I'm a Disabled Vet in a wheelchair, and use my RAM to haul my mobility scooter, and it's hard-ish for me to enter the truck unless I'm near a curb):

1. I'd like to lower the entire truck 1-2" in front, and 4" in rear, but not change the spring rates (and knowing that the chair lift and scooter I use weigh about 600lbs altogether). Recommendations on whose kit to use?

2. I only JUST found out that the only fuel filter the Pentastar 3.6L has is the fuel tank sock. Recommendations for an EXTERNAL fuel filter (manufacturer and type) as well as installation location? I'm sufficiently old-school (65) that I don't trust just the tank sock, especially as my Pentastar has only 85K on the clock...

3. Thoughts on simply using a WIX cartridge oil filter or "upgrading" to the add-on oil filter kit being sold with the spin-on filter? I don't do any rough driving, and most trips are an average of 50 miles there and back/25 miles one-way.

4. Coolant change specs and best coolant type? What about waterless coolant?

5. Research locally suggests that I'll be spending $1K to have my trans filter/pan/fluid replaced (I want to do it at 100K). Reasonable, or what?

I appreciate you all in advance. Thank you!

Mopar 10 year coolant that you have is one of the best coolants made, along with peak global life. Generally just 100% coolant give or take, so I would sick with Mopar because one you mix coolants you will bugar up the color. Stay away from anything comes with an orange label period. Find any spun glass filter, if you like wix go wix xp. The interval is a little less on transmission, but hey with this transmission budget comes into play a lot of the time, so 100k is better then not doing it.

Item 1 is virtually impossible. If you want to lower the bell tech 2/4 lit is popular and tested.

Item 2, why

Item 3, listen to burla

Item 4 listen to burla

Item 5, a bit high but probably a max price
