Alright guys do as some of you know I had my complete windshield tinted last week. It was supposed to only be 15 on it but he messed up and put 5 on it. Needless to say I don't like it and it's too dark as I do a lot of night country driving. I have decided to just go with the tint strip up top and leave it. My question is I want to see some pics of the 2nd gens to get an idea of how big I want the strip! Thanks guys.

When I got mine done, they guy looked at me and told me to sit in the truck. He put a piece of cardboard on the window and said, "this is to the "legal" line". I couldn't see ****. I'm tall.......I told him to go 1-1.5" higher. Works GREAT for me.

I'd have it done to your spec, not the "norm".

Yes sitting in the truck is the best way, just above your eyeline.

Mine is not very straight, as its was left over from my back window and I just threw it up there. this is a couple inches below the legal line (as I am short) Eventually this may get professionally done

Its the silver/white part that the tint

Okay that makes sense to have it done to my spec since I'm only 5 6 and don't fill up much of the cab lol I might try with the cardboard tonight
