Im running the stock 285/45/22 tire on my truck right now. The amount of wheel well im seeing bothers me. I dont want to lower the truck in front, (doing a 2'' rear drop to level it out) so Im thinking of getting a little bit bigger tire. Ive searched the stickies and tire charts and stores online. None of that has really helped me out and nothing is better than experience. So...

Does anyone know a tire that will achieve my goal of filling up a little more of that open space? Have any pics been posted of someone running a larger tire?

Im not talking drastic here. I checked the wheel well while turning the wheel and there is not a ton of room without a possible rubbing issue. If i had to, I would be ok with doing a tiny bit of ''trimming'' on the wheel well. But I would love to stay away from that type of thing if I can.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

You could try and find a 305 series with a taller side wall. I run. 305/50-20 and the tires will rub the sway bar when turning at low speeds. You wont get into the fender liners at stock height. There are some tire charts that will give you overall diameter for the particular size

The largest size I could find is 325/50R22 and it is 34.7 inches I am not sure if they fit on an R/T but you could measure and see. On my 4x4 Ram they would fit only rub on little wheel well liner bump on drivers side.
I found the size here Yokohama*Parada Spec-X

They also have these what a sick tire too bad they are insane high priced

Thank you sir! That helps a bit. Though I think the 4x4s sit a little higher so the clearance may be less on my truck. But that gets the ball rolling. Appreciate the links as well!

Thanks man! I was leaning toward the McGaughy's spring. Only because ive heard that the ride is better. Maybe because the stock shocks remain? You must have some experience with this. Are the rides comparable?
