I have a 2014 1500 5.7L with 8spd transmission (8HP70) 4x4 with 3.21 gears. I currently have the stock tires (P275/60R20) that are original.
I am considering a level kit, but do not want to have a ton of space around the tire. If I go to 34s, and a front leveling kit (like the 5100's) would there be any rubbing?
Aside from size, I've seen people who like Toyo Open Country's, Coopers, etc. I used to like BF Goodrich on my Ranger, but that was a few years ago when I made my last truck tire purchase.
I drive 75% highway, and only see off road a few times a year, though I do end up on job sites / construction sites that are essentially giant mud puddles. I'd like something with decent wet traction and very good snow traction. I live in Maryland, so we see snow more than a few times each winter, but I have some reasons so I cannot be trapped at home in the snow, so something that will get me around in the white stuff is very important. I don't need anything overly extreme as far as tread, but I do like a slightly beefy look.
Any help / direction is appreciated. Thanks!
