My Nittos (295/65R20) are approaching 40K. Still have good tread on them 8/32 but started feeling paranoid about replacement tire due to the supply chain issues. We to Discount Tires and asked them about their inventory on the Toyo Open Country AT3 in 295/65R20. He showed me his screen and it showed 4 in the entire US (Discount’s inventory). I bought them; they are shipping them from out of state and will be here on the 17th.

I asked a buddy of mine to do an inventory search (he is a service manager for a large independent shop) and he said nothing showed up on his computer when he checked 3 distribution centers (including Goodyear’s regional center) in that size. He found 2 Nitto MT’s but that is about it.

I plan to sell my Nitto’s for $500 to offset the cost of the new tires. Don’t know how long this is going to last but just wanted to give you a heads up.

CA,

I don't think it's brand specific as it is size specific. LT tires are harder to get. P rated (for example 275/55R20) are more readily available.

I have been running the Toyo OC AT3 on my truck now for a few thousand miles. They seem to be wearing great so far. Which reminds me I need to get them rotated soon. Barely any road noise to speak of and couldn’t be happier with them. Glad I got them when I did because just like everything else I believe the price of them have gone up.

supply chain is really messed up

There are 115 Cargo Ships off the coast of Los Angeles/Long Beach
San Diego is going to begin taking in some of that load
They won't be able to handle much of it, but everything helps

Trucking companies take loaded containers to the destination on the invoice, but the truckers can not take any Empty containers back to the Port, there is no room for them, until a ship can haul them out.

I wonder if the same thing is going on in San Francisco, Seattle, etc.
