Running stock but wanting to upgrade tire size. Can I fit 35s on my 14 2500 at stock height without scrubbing. I also have the bolt on mud flaps. What size tire can I fit at stock height?

Before my leveling kit, I did fit 35x12.50r18 on the stock wheels. Didn't even get close to rubbing.

No they will not rub. The little pieces on the tires from the molding process did touch the sway bar so I wouldn't go bigger than 35's stock. I have the heavy duty rubber mopar mud flaps and I would recommend getting fender flares because the mud flaps don't stop anything from being flung up from the outside of the tread.

Would 35's be ok with this set up? 11.50 Rear Axle with 3.73 Rear Axle Ratio. Just got that from the dealership by running the vin.

Gas Milage I'm averaging 15 in the city. And yes I have the 6.4. Did you notice any mpg drop with 35s? Towing I haven't towed anything yet. Honestly I never will. I can tell you though this 6.4 handles way better in the mud then 5.7 does. Power band seems to be a lot more consistent.

I call BS on that mileage, the best I could do highway was low 16's with a tuner, you are saying you are getting 15 in city driving? Going to 35's knocked about 1 to 1.5 mpg's off of what I was getting.

I coast to most lights and don't fight traffic. I let them try and get around me lol. The wife is getting annoyed saying she hates the truck because I drive slow. Did you notice performance gains with the tuner?

Performance gains is a relative term with a 7000 pound truck. It does have more power and a lot better throttle response, but I am only running the 87 tune.

With my 35s I avg about 12.5, maybe up to 14 mpg depending on how I drive, and what the speed limit is. Per the computer I was getting around 16.9mpg with stock tires and the high air pressure. I get a slight rub at about 3/4 lock either way on the stupid plastic bulge on the inner wheel wells - nothing rubbed off, can just hear the treads hit.

Towing has changed to much - avg about 8.5 towing our 30' TT with the 35s. I tried a 40 some foot park model on the stock tires and got around 4.5-5mpg. That was a fun trip.................
