That's it, I'm fed up with the 6-rib belt slipping as soon as I go over 6000 rpm. I debated on how I was going to fix it, even thought about going up to a F1-R blower but I think I have an idea of how to do this in an awesome and never done way on the 4th gen. Have the parts, just need to mock up and build myself a custom bracket, luckily I have an engine just sitting on a stand to work on.

Say hello to ZERO belt slippage!! Here's a hint on how it's going to happen:

Cogged belt drive. Nice.
Just know your blow off valve better be adjusted right. Clogged blower belts on the street is hard on the blower unit too.

They're hard on the blower unless you run a spragged blower pulley which allows the blower to free spin while the engine ramps down. I have the ATI sprag blower cog coming as well. Only downside to the ATI blower cog is it's only available in a 45 tooth and I wanted a 35 to run the D1SC at its max rpm. I'm sure I'll be seeing more than 10psi with the 88/45 combo which is what I'm doing with the 6 rib belt slipping these days. Brand new belt sees 15psi but drops in a few days and the tensioner is maxed.

I figure I'll get it all squared away with the D1SC and see how it runs, might step up to a F1-R in the future if I'm not getting the boost I want. It'll be a different blower sound now that's for sure. My truck already gets a lot of attention when I pull in to parking lots so we'll see what happens now.
