Tires and gear ratio?

3:55 gears, I have 275/40/20 tires...maybe 2 inches shorter than the stock tires on top and bottom, so an overall 4 in I think...how much has this effected my final drive gear ratio?...is it around a 3.90,4.10? Thanks

Probably close to 3.92 I would say.

may want to recheck your math....more like a 3.8:1 gear. also note that those tires will look VERY small on your truck.

Seems like it would be a 4.08 so id just round it off to a 4.10 and call it a day..Thats a damn small tire..Im looking at new tires now and scared of going to small on my crewcab...
