Tire question!

Which of the two tires below will improve the unladen, highway "ride" of my 2014 DRW the best, if at all? I currently have the OEM Nexon tires on with outside wear on the fronts.

Michelin LTX M/S 2, 235/70R17, or

Mastercraft Courser, CXT 255/80R17.

The only mod of significance is the installation of an AUTOFLEX rear suspension.

Thanks

I had a set of Michelins on my last truck. While they were a little pricey I can't really complain to much because I got 80000 miles out of them. The ride was a lot better than the Hankooks that came on it originally. The only thing bad I've ever heard about Michelins is that they dryrot faster than some others. I didn't see that problem but I put my milage on them in 3 years. My recommendation would be the Michelins if you're gonna put the mileage on them.

I just bought the Michelin defenders. I pulled out of the tire shop and immediately felt the better ride and handling. What a big improvement over the stock POS firestones.

Are you still liking the defenders? I'm looking for a quiet cross country highway ride, KOs are way too noisy for me..
