2022 Power Wagon 6.4 / Daily driver:
Trying to decide between lift kit or just bigger tires. The choices:

Traxda Kit# 605050PW /3.5 inch in front 2 inch in rear and 37’s
Or
Just change out the tires to 35’s and no lift.

Thoughts and opinions.. Pros and cons

Thanks,
Eric

2015pw on 35s you can run 35s with no problems just need to change the tire size so you need a programer to access the computer

Unless U need lifted truck for work no lift. Lift changes geometry on all parts and strains driveline causes early wear.

I would like to run bigger rubber but lifts and bigger tires are spendy and hard on parts and fuel. When I bought my truck times were good things have changed.

A 3.5" lift versus stock is a pretty big difference. You could do a milder lift kit like Thuren or Carli offers, which are typically around 1.5-2". I will say that a PW with an additional 3.5" lift is pretty big. That's like a regular 2500 with at least 5" of lift.
I personally have a PW with 1.5" lift front Thuren springs, 1" rear spacers, and 37's and it's still quite nice to drive and take it on vacation out of state.

Are these the front springs: 14ULRFC-2H3 and the rear spacers: TF-2500RCSPCR-KIT. Did you also change out the shocks? Was any trimming needed for the 37’s? Also any pics.
Thanks

Those are the front springs I have, and I installed the Thuren Fox 2.0 shocks in the front at the same time. Drove it with the front setup and the stock rear springs and shocks for awhile. I installed the 1" rear spacers at a later date and kept the factory shocks for awhile, later updating them to Thuren Fox 2.0. I have a bed topper that has toolboxes inside the side flip up windows, carry a fulsize 37 in the bed most of the time, and still have the stock spare under it. So a little more weight than typical and thought it needed the rear spacer to keep it level. The spacer I have is not the Thuren one, but some other basic 1" rear coil spacer that's about half the price of the Thuren one.
37x13.5R17 on 0 offset 17x9. Required a moderate amount of trimming which is mainly because of the wide tires and the offset of the wheels. If the wheels had more offset they would fit a lot better.

Thanks for the reply.. PW looks good.. I believe you are correct that is enough lift without affecting anything else.

I run 37" BFG's without lift. Lift or leveling is more cosmetic than it is functional. I can think of a million things to do with the money.

Update: I went to my local off road shop (Top Shop Palmetto Florida) the owner was working Saturday morning and talked me out of a lift and advised just to go with bigger tires. Awesome shop and speaks volumes when the owner is working on the weekend and advised me against spending money. I went with 35’s and happy with my decision. Thanks to everyone for their input.IMG_2717.jpegIMG_2716.jpegIMG_2715.jpeg
