I’m sure they all cost the same to make. I think they set the price depending on the number of that particular vehicle that’s on the road and the amount of money people are willing to spend on that vehicle in the aftermarket area and the cost of R&D to make the product. I’m sure they have done their research. It’s called capitalism of course they’re going to try to make a ton of money of their products. The cost to develop products is through the roof and costs way more money than they’re asking to a pair of their lights. They have to hire company’s to make molds and tooling to turn a prototype into production and hiring a company to make an assembly line to build the product while paying employees. It’s not as simple as here I built these lights for 300 bucks but I’m going to sell them to you for 1300.

Evidently they didn't spend as much on R&D as they should have the first time through. :rotflmao:

What still takes my breath away about these lights is they didnt use knock offs to build the housings. WHY DIDNT THEY USE KNOCK OFFS! The inability to adjust them on the truck is insane to me.

I was hard on the fence till I read that part. I have stock black projectors now and was thinking those might look good on me Night edition.

If you read thru the main headlight thread, I believe they discovered they are adjustable while on the truck.....

Yes that was my fault. The adjustments are different from what we are used too but the up and down can be done while they are installed.

Haha no I am still enjoying them. With the harness on the way they'll be 100% soon. Maybe if I was more serious about a 19.

I will never spend $1300 for headlights. But I will spend $2000 for a winch lol. This reminds me of the Rigid Light wars of 2018 on my other forum I visit

Hope you don’t have projectors then. Because if you need replacements that’s what you’ll be paying for oem

Those ones are yes, but I can get factory ones for $550.

You can get factory replicas for 550. Made by TYC but they use cheaper plastics more prone to wear.

Per light? There’s no way you can get 2 oems for 550. I was born at night but it wasn’t last night. I would need proof of that claim

I can get a quote from my local dealer. I used to work there and looked into it for a customers Tradesman a few months back. The dealer said $550 for both with my discounts.

Hey you don't have to believe me lol I'm just saying I will never spend over $700 for headlights when I can get factory or a better headlight for under that. Not to mention $1300 for a light that has problems

I just don’t know to many employees at dealerships that get over 50 percent off of parts. If I did I’d be hitting them up for everything [emoji23]

Why when in my opinion the factory headlights are junk. The stock projector headlights sell for $850 without the discounts for two. Literally just called. But continue on with your day getting bent over on prices while I laugh that my way more cheaper lights work flawlessly.

What dealer did you call? Because at that price I’ll buy a set for a retrofit. And no ones getting bent out of shape just simply calling out false claims.
