Took the plunge today

For my first pickup truck, I bought a 2014 Big Horn in deep cheery red today.

Among others got the Hemi, 8 speed tranny, bucket seats. 4x4 crew cab, short box, 3.92 LSD, Uconnect 8.4A, 20x8 aluminum chrome clad wheels, luxury group, Class IV tow package with brake control, tow hooks, fog lamps, remote start, spray-in bed liner and more.

Listed for $51,300 and got it for $39k even. Includes $8.5k factory rebate and $4k dealer mark down. The dealer owner is a friend of a best friend. My buddy is the shop foreman. Will be getting it on Tuesday. Life is good.

Sounds like a beautiful truck! Hope you enjoy it for a long time. One word of advice---PLEASE PLEASE don't let the dealership detail your truck before you take delivery. Some of those "get ready " guys think that steel wool and microfiber is the same thing. They will do more damage to the paint than you can ever imagine. Detail it yourself after you get it, I think you will be much happier.
