Need some super quick thoughts and opinions. Getting a tool box for my truck this weekend. It will be black for sure.

But the question is: For MY truck what would look better the smooth or the diamond plate? I am not into the ranch truck look but oddly kinda think the smooth looks more ranchy? but then I kinda flip-flop.

Ive always been diamond plate or nothing but I do like my buddies smooth one he has on his f-250, and it's rhino lined and color matched so it's not really smoth but not diamond

I've only seen the smooth toolboxes in old work trucks and farm trucks. Last one I saw was white at one time and in the back of an old, beat up ferd lol

I like diamond tool boxes, since I have one.:roflsquared:

I could not place why I felt that way but your right, thats its. lol

Thanks everybody for the input, making my decision a lot less complicated.

smooth, be out of the ordinary, screw the flow of other trucks, that's always been my motto

Truckless...
I agree with the general population. The diamond plate ones look better IMO, the smooth ones just look cheap

The black diamond plate has that rigged tough look which is the same look your truck has, I think the smooth look would look to clean on a "tough" looking truck.
