I'm running into a wall here, have a 2014 ram with a plastic bed liner (over the rail) also have a tool box I want to throw on. Tool box is also over or on the rail. What is the best route to do this? I usually just have bolted to rail, but now that I have the plastic liner (obviously) its impossible to place a nut and bolt securely. Should I just cut a access in the side of the bed liner under the tool box? or go with a heavy metal screw? or other suggestions?

I ended up using those brackets today, just jigged a couple squares in the plastic liner and mounted those up. I just could not seem to come up with any other method. Spray bed liner will come down the road, this was the cheap set up for now, actually came out of an 08 Ram, fit pretty good, about a half inch short but was able to trim near the cab to adjust into place. not a bad set up for a $20 craigslist find
