I bought a totalled ram that was in a accident and had the air bags deploy and wont crank one head light turns on with the key on and windows wont roll up and i cant figure out whats wrong

It’s totaled (jk) try charging the battery if you can get to it. Where exactly was the truck damaged for it to be a total loss?

Here's a link to a 2009 Ram service manual that has service procedures and wiring diagrams, it should help, I use it for my 2010 and haven't found any differences so far. Use MS Edge to open, but run it in IE compatibility mode and use that to get it to work correctly. It takes a little bit of tweaking to get it to work.

Since we are in the detailing section, I would say 2 stage paint correction followed by a quality ceramic coating!!

Could be a number of things? What have you done so far to trouble shoot it?

Sounds like you might need some professional help, any good shops you can take it to?

It was totalled in the front it wasnt to bad just enough to get the air bags to deploy

Have the frame checked . I always start with the simplest possibilities. I would start with the fuse box and see if any fuse are slightly dislodged. If all checks out, check the wiring in and to the doors. That’s where I would start.

AFAIK in a 2010 deployment of the airbags disables the fuel pump, unlocks the doors and turns on interior lights. It should not keep the engine from starting unless something else was damaged, after the whole system was power cycled. So first try to disconnect the battery for a while (unless it was already dead/disconnected). Then I'd look at all the individual modules. The airbag module definitely needs to be reset but in the interim try to disconnect it. Then check on PCM and BCM if they respond to commands.

Air bag switch. Get Alpha OBD and troubleshoot it. It will tell you what is open. If not at least get a good scantool and check for codes.
