the truck is a 2013? how many miles?
If the truck was like a 2018. i would probably say NOT a total loss. Most of the stuff looks superficial, aside from some suspension component which will probably need to be replaced.
If the truck is a 2013, and has a high mileage theres a good chance they might total it. Just because the value of the truck will be less than the cost to fix.
I dont know about you. but i would try and push the insurance to total the vehicle. stress concerns about future issues, and safety due to the possibility of another suspension component failing.
I mentioned to the adjuster that I was concerned about the frame being bent or cracked. I actually went up the concrete barrier and caught air a few times.it does not look totaled to me but I can't see the frame.
Its a 4x2, no front axle, but it tore the steering tie rod out of the electronic rack, broke the front lower control arm where its mounted to the frame and I'll bet it tweaked the frame, bent the stabilizer link, bearing spindle and wheel, wheel well and fender, the only wheel that wasn't effected was the left front, probable damage to the rear axle, plus this rig is in great condition, hasn't had the NE brutal weather attack it.
Dealership asking asking price for a 2015 with similar milage is $30K - 32K. They are not budging much on prices for trucks right now. Even if they took 10% off the low end or $27K, doesn't look like yours has near that much damage.
Good call. I thought it was an axle laying on the floor hahaIts a 4x2, no front axle, but it tore the steering tie rod out of the electronic rack, broke the front lower control arm where its mounted to the frame and I'll bet it tweaked the frame, bent the stabilizer link, bearing spindle and wheel, wheel well and fender, probable damage to the rear axle on both sides, driver side rear wheel is tweaked, Damage to the left front suspension.

Yeeaaaaaaa I dont think that price is accurate. My 2018 only has 28k miles and its a fully loaded laramie MSRP of 53k and I'm in the process of financing after my lease just ended. remaining value on my truck according to the bank is 26-27k. Wheels and tires alone will be close to 2-2.5k especially if they go with mopar rims. Body work etc your looking at minimum 15k. My wife tapped a truck with her 2018 CRV and caused nothing but front bumper damage and cost was like $4k.
