Have 2014 with base 6 speaker system. Replaced all speakers with kicker 6x9 and 3 1/2 in dash. Much improved sound. Installed a Lc6 loc and a amp.
Double checked everything before trying for first time. NO sound, getting power to everything and can turn gains on amp up and get some hiss in speakers. Pulled neg. batt off and hooked up wires directly from HU back to speakers ( same way it was when it was playing good) and still no sound. Any ideas?? I have done a few of these and never had a problem???
One other thing put my meter on the speaker leads from HU and get zero volts, even when volume is turned up???

I'm giving up on my lc7i build for these issues.

Their is a fuse in the harness bottom corner of the battery in the engine bay. Pull it. Check it. Put it back in if it's still good and I bet you will get some audio

I was unsuccessful at getting my system going so I wish you luck. I just ordered a pioneer hu

search around on here. you either have to put resistors in the speaker connection wires between the stock head unit and the lc6. i assume you used high level input to the lc6?
otherwise pac audio (i believe) has a "pro-loc" where it takes care of this for you.

like i said search around. there have been diagrams posted and resistor values to use.

As Baum said. A bit concerning that you hooked back up as normal and still no sound, but the amp may need 10-15 minutes to reset.

the "hidden" amp is only on the factory alpine units. otherwise its built into the factory head unit

No problem. I found it on Sunday. I had been having Bluetooth connection issues as well, now it hooks right up.

Is everything working now or did it give you back some sound only

I talked to audio control
They said to try 100-375 ohm at .5-1 watt resistors if you are still having issues. I bought some bit haven't tried yet

Well here is the end of the ORDEAL and how I got passed it!!
Pulled fuse and put back in and got back to just speaker sound, would not go thru Lc6 or amps. Went to ratshack and got some resistors and tried that. Did not help problem.
Went to drink a beer and think about it for a while. Came back and this is what I did, the front dash speakers (kicker) were way too bright just with the factory deck pushing them, so I unhooked them from the amp and wired them into the front speaker wires going to the Lc6. Yea!! got my front doors back and amp was pushing them hard.
Toned the dash speakers down just right, and got the front sounding pretty damn good.
Still had the rear problem and no sound!! SOOOO!!! I took the factory dash speakers put them face to face and screwed them together, hooked each one to the rear speaker feeds taped them up and shoved them back behind the HU. This resolved all my issues and my truck rocks clean and hard!!
My system nothing fancy but sounds pretty damn good.
Hertz 6x9 2 way back doors
Kicker 6x9 2 way front doors
kicker 3.5 dash speakers
sub autotuba 10 folded horn
amp Planet Audio AC 1800.5
12 wire to all doors and sub
16 wire to dash speakers

I am glad you got it working, however ghetto it is lol. Pick up a PAC LOC PRO at some point and use that instead of the AudioControl device.

Plan on just changing the HU out at a later date, not going to live with a getto system for very long. Lol. It is insane that someone would build a HU like this!
They under estimate us cheap rednecks, where there is a few beers something going to get figured out somehow LOL!!

Lol isn't that true. I have seen some pretty "interesting" stuff come through. Redneck inventions make my day.
