Thought Id pass this on as I didn't see it in search. Bought a new 2017 Laramie this past Oct. At first the touch screen worked fine, then when driving somewhere it would go off radio and then onto control. Thought it was me at first but it got to the point of going off radio and on control in a minute or two. Sometimes it would go completely crazy and just lock up. Wouldn't do it all the time. Brought it to the dealer and they upgraded the software. Seemed fine for a day, then it started doing it again. Brought it back to show the service writer and it wouldn't do it lol. As I left the dealer about a mile away it started doing it when I touched the volume control knob. Sure enough if you wiggled the knob you could get the screen to do all sorts of whacky stuff. Made a U turn and brought it right back to the dealer and they took me in immediately. Tech had the counsel out in less then a minute. Didn't have any volume control modules in stock so they took one out of another new truck with the same options and put it in mine. Works perfectly since. Two thumbs up to my dealer Oxandale Jeep Chrysler in Cottonwood AZ. Stand up dealership!
