Tow hooks on an express

Did you cut the plastic or buy a completely new piece.

They bolted on in 10 mins. Just have to pop the plastic piece out first. And I just cut the plastic. Kind of a pain but Im happy with how it turned out.

Do they still use the hanger hooks on the 1500s? I often wonder why they didn't put descent hooks like on the HD model where you get put some oomph behind the tug when trying to pull something. I straightened one of my 1500 hooks the first winter I had my 1500 trying to pull a civic out of the ditch. It was damned embarrassing.

Agreed. I like the look, but too much money. I don't need them, just like the look.

Wish someone would come out with aftermarkets that were half the price.

That hook doesn't look very sturdy maybe its just the pic but it looks thinner then most and for the price I wonder if there is some after market hooks that can be bought cheaper

the plastic piece for tow hooks already cutout is p/n 68088193aa at dealer for around 10-12 $ don't know if it fits express but did fit slt/lonestar

If it fits an Chrome Bumper truck, it won't fit the express.
However, the P/N should exist for the pre-cut for Sports too.
