Looking to install OEM tow hooks.

Any idea how difficult, what I should expect to pay if I have dealer install?

Thanks.

Haven't done it, but cant think it would be that difficult. Unscrew some bolts, mount and screw the bolts back in. But, there are some people who think building a mars rover or doing brain surgery is not that difficult. In the grand scheme of things, I would think it is not to difficult to do yourself.

Just figure you are going to pay the dealer $100 per hour on average. A couple hours maybe, but they can probably do it quicker! lol.... I am sure they could give you a quote if you give them a call.

I have done it. Would suggest also buying the bezel's that replace the solid ones your currently have. Bezels are about $35 and tow hooks $135. Easy to do. Unbolt old bezel's, install new ones using same 4 bolts. Install tow hooks and your done. Took me about 1 hour to complete. You will need a torque wrench to properly tighten bolts for tow hooks.

Many have done it themselves. Save your cash.

I just did mine last week and like others have said - start to finish about an hour and a half. But that also included changing out my fog light bulbs to LED.

I did it as well. I also recommend the new bezels so you don't have to worry about cutting your factory ones up.

Don't pay anyone to install them. There are two nuts and one large bolt on each hook. It is very easy! It took me about 20 minutes total, and I was taking my time trying not to scratch the bezels.

If you look at the hooks you can see that they attach to the main bumper bracket and then bottom of the frame rails.
I only had the bumper off because I deleted AGS and had to replace my bumper from a minor accident I had recently. Removing the bumper is not needed.

Take a couple measurements or just eye ball it then heat up a razor blade and cut the plastic. Slide in the hooks from the inside out and tighten a couple bolts. No big deal

You should put in a light bar while your are at it.

Suggestions? Parts/Brands to consider? Pics?

I’d live to, but the nightmare stories on the forum when it comes to light swaps have made me completely paranoid.

Wish I had LED headlamps.

This guy got them from a junkyard for $25, might be worth checking out.

Not a swap ... goes between the hooks.

Rough country sells the attachment.

You can speed between 50 - 200 on the lights.

Search youtube.
