Tow mirror to oem powerfold.

Hello has anyone went from the tow mirrors to painted , heated, powerfold mirrors? Is it possible to do what is needed? Does anyone have part numbers for this thanks

What's your plans with the tow mirrors? Buddy of mine has a 2015 2500 who is looking for a set.

I would sell them as long as I get the regular mirrors figured out and installed.

For the 5th gen trucks, there are controllers inside the door panels that must be changed out to recognize the additional capabilities of the mirror, and your truck's computer system needs to be updated to look for the updated controllers. I swapped my tow mirrors for folding, heated mirrors, the cost was about $1700.

Oh.. and you need a new window switch on the driver's side that has the button for the mirror folding feature.

Look at infotainment.com if you want to see a packaged deal. Its a pretty simple upgrade, but pricey.
