Tow mirrors

I have a 2011 ram 1500 SLT. I want to replace my stock power/heated mirrors with tow mirrors. Allegedly they are plug and play and both plug sockets are in the door module. I plugged in the driver's side mirror before installing and everything worked except the marker/turn signal and puddle light. Is there something missing or will these not work on this truck? Currently I'm sending them back because one of the mounting studs on the passenger mirror was missing. Asking before I reorder. Thanks

Would be helpful if you posted what you bought? where you bought them from? etc..
1A Auto (a forum vendor) sells plug and play tow mirrors for 1500's that came with the factory power mirrors

I'm pretty sure that the puddle light and turn signal will work but you have to go to the dealer to have the truck flashed with the purchase code to turn the options on. They are currently turned off.

Finally got a call back from a dealer. Apparently '09-15' most SLT and big horns are wired for everything they just have to install a sales code for most upgrades. 1/2 hour labor charge $52.

Or you could delve into the world of AlphaOBD for about $100 bucks and make almost any option available on other trim models possible yourself. Look it up on the forum. It may be worth your while.

Yup, all they did was install the sales code and all the lights on the mirrors work. Took 10 minutes

So far I am happy. I have seen them on a few other rams
