ram.jpg2014 Ram 2500 Intermittently I get this message. After a few days it goes out. Does anyone have any idea why it reads them as low when they are filled above the 60 PSI minimum?

I believe because you are below the 20% differential threshold.
If you bring the fronts up from 62 to 65+psi the message should clear.
Or you could lower the 81 down to 76 psi it should clear.

Do you have the pressure display up all the time, or just look at it when the warning comes on? The reason I ask is if maybe one of the sensors is dropping off for a second or two triggering the light. Or if maybe one or the other fronts is low in the morning when it's colder???
Not familiar with the thought on the pressure difference between front and rear causing the issue? If the display states fill to 60 psi and you have at least 60 psi in them I would think it would be okay? What does the door sticker state the rear tires should be inflated to?

The warning should not come on until you are 20% below the door sticker inflation pressures. So if front says 60, should not come on till it gets below 48 pounds. Very likely you have one or more sensors that the battery is weak in. Cold mornings causes the voltage to drop. TPMS sensors have a service life of 8 to 10 years, then need to be replaced. Hot weather shortens their service life quite a bit, just like any battery. Replace all 4 sensors and you should be back to fine. Any tire shop should be able to read the voltage on each sensor.
