I apologize if this issue has been beat to death but I have a 2010 1500 and I found a set of stock wheel and tires on Craigslist. I needed tires so I just went ahead and bought them.. took off my wheels and tires and bolted the new ones on..tire pressure systems has all dashes now.. I have read if you drive at least 15 mph for 10 mins it will since the senors and start working... couple questions... is that true and how do I know for sure the new wheels have tpms sensors?? Assuming the new wheels are off a 2013-2015 dodge

What year truck did the wheels and tires come off of?

In most cases, yes, a little driving is needed to re-establish the connection between the wheel sensors and receivers.

You can verify the wheels have sensors by breaking the tire and wheel assembly down.

I'm not sure what year they came off of.. just from pics on the internet of those wheels and the date stamp on the tires , my best guest is 2013-2015

I was hoping not to have to tear them apart to tell.. guess I will try the 15mph for 10 min trick tomorrow

If you can't tell what year they came off of then it may be hard to tell if you have the right sensors. There were some changes made to the transmit frequency of the sensors and you may have the wrong sensors in the wheels you bought.

I'd give the drive thing a try first and go from there.
