Essentially, you want your new jeans, to produce the same Fart sound, as your old jeans
B U T (Pun intended)
the old jeans were European-styled, Ultra Skin-Tight and the new ones are American styled, Relaxed Fit?

Do I got that right?

If so, doubt it can be done.
FYI, the Salutes are different too.

This is a joke, if it isn’t it missed a great opportunity.

For some reason I suspect skinny jeans and flat bill hat, maybe a man bun?

How about MBRP?
1) Welcome
2) U went from a Porsche to a RAM and expect to hear a Porsche? OMG, nah, dat not gonna happen.
3) There are a kazillion choices on mufflers, and add ons, and deletes, and whole systems etc. U would have to research forum.
4) Most people start with new slip on muffler, like say Flowmasters, Borla. But U not gonna get that European rumble outta a 6.4 8 cylinder Hemi, different world.
5) Good Luck on yer choices.

There are a lot of choices for a good muffler to make it sound more like a truck. The stock muffler is too quiet. Hard to go wrong with a Flowmaster 40 series. There are a lot of other options but I've always liked that one on my truck.

Wow, Porsche to pickup. That doesn't seem like a common trade. I'd love to hear what a Hemi sounds like if someone dropped a few grand on trying to get it to sound like a Porsche.

Damn. This thread went a direction I didn’t expect. Lol. Well for the OP I’m going to say that’s most likely impossible given the design difference between the 2 engines. You can definitely get a nice sound out of the hemi. I’m a fan of the borla exhaust systems with hemi. The sound is smoother and deeper than other brands imho.

Ahhhhh, yeah ok. Just IMHO, U cannot compare a Hemi Motor to a Panny, just not gonna happen. 2 distinctly different systems, and just FTR, spent 10 years in Europe, been blown by/away by many a Porsche, BMW, etc etc, hee hee, and one time in my past kinda used to race round oval, boy never did make a right turn, lmao.

Of course the BH whispers as compared to a Porsche, not set up that way, BH set up for Mom/Pop operations, GG, etc, and the Hemi just not gonna sound like a Porsche, but hey, whateva works. U want noise, Borla Catback be the way. But that be a lil loud, LOL.

Good luck on which ever way U go.

3rd Generation Union Man so yeah, democrat.
Protect my income, first, worry about thew rest after that.

if you truly want to pick a great muffler, for your ears, then head over to youtube
type
ram muffler
and start listening.

I ended up with a magnaflow on my last Ram and loved it but am not going to do it to this Ram.
I like the quiet too much now.

You will need to go with a larger muffler style to keep drone down or gone entirely,

pop over to the
ENGIEN AND PERFORMANCE threads in each Generation of truck and see what they say about mufflers.

hemi is a hemi so soudn shoudl be the same across generations.

My tundra hit 100,000 miles and I couldn’t part with it so I dumped the Porsche. It sounded great. They put a resonance tube into the cabin and a quad tip dual exhaust out the back. That thing in track mode spit and burped with every downshift and rev match. The V-8 took 11 quarts of oil, and if you stood behind it, you could feel it the vibe through your chest. My goal with the ram is to get dual pipes out the sides but less feedback in the cabin. Hence my neighbors be damned.
