Where would the best place to get an OEM trailer brake control module for a 22’ Ram 1500 Classic? Once installed is there anything else I need to do or is it just plug and play?

This is the kit your looking for:
https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/82215040ac-fs.html. There have many many complaints here on the forums of people using Aftermarket "OEM style" controllers, so your best to use an official OEM kit.
Once you have it installed you'll also need to enable the settings page on the EVIC(and in the radio) with AlfaOBD or have a dealership program it(expect to pay for an hour labor typically).

Dealer in my area just jacked up their rate from $149 to $229...AlfaOBD is a no brainer IMO.
