I received the lights, and they look great. Of course it's pouring rain so the install will have to wait until next week.
Same here. Weather wasn't that great today. I did buy an inline splash proof fuse holder because I plan on tapping directly into the 12v feed. I'm actually thinking about not using the track and sticking the rope light right to the trailer. It would be easier for me.

You’re going to let a little water stop you?

I was actually working on my truck in the rain. And since the track uses sticky tape I wanted a good clean and dry install.

Somehow I ran into a shopping cart in the parking lot last weekend and bent the bracket on one of my LED lights on my bull bar. So I was trying to straighten everything out today, laying on a wet driveway.

Ah crap. This forum is costing me money. I only got the one side to light up the camping side.

Now that I think about it, however, I'm good with that. Don't want to light up the other side anyways.

Whew. For a second I thought i had to buy more lights!

I haven't done this but I'm trying to talk a friend into it.

no add an axle, no changing into a dually, you can add a tire to that single.

Same here, only one. Curb side only. Using the full 20'. My trailer is 29' and the box is 25' so I'm going to center it in the 25'.

The lights are done. One side is enough. I couldn't put them on the bottom of the I beam due to the gas line for the outside kitchen being in the way.

I ended up running them through the corner brackets for the I beam. It's gives a pretty well defined cut off line on the ground but it still looks great.

I tapped it off of the positive terminal on the frame. No switch, just an inline rain proof fuse holder.

Not a mod but finally figured out what the 2nd light switch in our camper is for.

Led light above the slideout. Bought it brand new last summer even the lady at the dealership that gave us the walk through didn't know what it was for. Just said I guess you will figure it out. Didn't even notice it was there since it's hidden with the slideout out. Last week noticed it was there and had to figure out if that was what the mystery switch was for. A wire nut later works perfect.

Very nice. You're going to love that. I'm glad some manufacturers are finally doing that.

I installed that type of lighting because it's so relaxing and easy on the eyes at night compared to those obnoxious led puck lights.

It's way nicer just flipping a switch and having lights in the main part rather then going from puck to puck turning them on. First weekend camping this year for us. Went with a permanent site since our daughter was born in February and with working construction all over figured it would just be easier to leave it somewhere. I have a good feeling the underbody lights will be one of a few mods that I'll do to the camper this year. Those look great!20210430_105836.jpg

Lights look nice.

I am considering going to electric over hydraulic brakes on my boat trailer.
I just installed the brake controller switch but still have to activate it.

Has anyone converted surge to electric over hydraulic?

Just brought the new camper home a week or so ago, so no major "mods" yet, other than the dealer adding roof vent covers and slide toppers (three each). I added a minor upgrade of sorts. There is no rear bumper on the Reflection series, but there is a 2" hitch receiver (rated for <300#). Two days ago, I received the Bully (black) step bumper that is illuminated (red LED's) to work in conjunction with stop and turn signal lighting. The device has enough lighting to serve as a warning, but (it is hoped) not too much (which creates its own problems... i.e., "most people do not look where they drive, they drive where they look"). In this application, the step function is a bonus that I will probably not even use.
