I just picked up 2019 Ram last night. It was on the dealer lot so got a great sale price. Unfortunately it has the Trailor-Tow mirrors. Stick out like 5 feet from the window.....
Just driving it home i really hated them. Called the dealer and they said they cannot swap them out. Any ideas as to what my options are? Truck has 10 miles on it and it will take a lot of doing to try and get used to those morrors

Two answers:

1. Get used to them. Cheap and effective. They're actually pretty useful as mirrors.

2. Buy non-tow mirrors and change them. You might recover some of your money by selling the tow mirrors.

I know what you mean about their size, and the smaller mirrors do look better, but they serve a function. You can also try flipping them up into tow mode and see if you like that look better.

What trim level did you get? If you got a higher trim you may also be upset to find out the tow mirrors remove the 360 camera, which you might be able to use as ammo against the dealer if they mislead you. If you got a lower trim level and wouldn't have them anyways, you could certainly swap them out for regulars but that could get complicated depending on what functions you would want with those.

19Dodge.jpg Yeah, tried to flip them, no good. Going to have to try and get used to them.
