Tranny problem please help...

so my tranny started making this wierd grinding noise once in a while while im driving but the tranny still shift flawless, no fluctuation in rpms or speed. wha t can it be Torque converter, flywheel (since the noise is closer to the front), idk I need help.. any info will be great thanks..

Have you checked the tranny fluid? I'd start there and smell it and see if it smells burnt and see if there's any metal shavings in it

Best thing is to do what HemiBabe said, to get more into detail I would drop the tranny pan, pull the filters, and observe.

Filters and fluid cost about $70 bucks if you need to get it back running and take it somewhere to be rebuilt.
