Hi All, I just picked up a 2011 Ram 1500 with various problems including a leaking trans cooler line.
It's difficult to see exactly where it's leaking but there's various rusty/scabby sections on both lines.

I'm thinking about either replacing both with high temp hose of some kind, or getting a braided line kit if there's one anyone can recommend.

All thoughts and ideas gratefully received.

Cheers.

I just replaced mine. It had a reeeeeeeeeeealy slow leak that's been going for a couple years now. I believe the leak was somewhere in the rubber line section.

I couldn't really find anything on upgrade kits for those lines. That said, the OEM replacement was $140. It's fairly simple to replace. I didn't need any special tools. I didn't show the entire process, but I show where the connections are and explain how to work with them. I couldn't find any legit videos on the entire process. One showing a dude getting the old one out and one of a woman showing absolutely nothing for the job. The OEM lines are pretty good. Mine lasted about 150k miles.
