Transfer case electric to manual question

I’m trying to sell a 545 transmission from my 03 with a manual transfer case. I was told that it won’t bolt up to a truck with an electronic transfer case because the output shaft is different. Is that true? I’m almost positive all the transmissions are exactly the same, just the transfer case is slightly different from the electronic hookups. But that wouldn’t effect the actual trans would it?

Transmission is identical, in fact if memory serves even the transfer case adapter is the same (I could be wrong though). Bought a 4wd trans off someone who told me it wouldn't fit my 2wd...he felt pretty dumb when I sent him pics of my 2wd tailshaft bolted to his former 4wd trans
