Transmission bummer

Just built this trans a year or two ago. Well played tug o war on dry pavement against a 13 f150 5.0 he stood no chance. Pulled him about 20 feet. All 4 of my 35s spinning then bang.
Think I lost a planetary.
I knew I should have went with a 48re planetary.
Anyway I'll post pics when I don't the damage. Got the pan off tonight. Just a little brass so far.

I'm pretty proud of it actually and he'll never hear the end of it. He's a co worker and I already don't shut up about how much better dodge is than his girl truck

Well this truck kinda fell into my lap, my last truck was a damn good truck but sitting on 40 in tires and getting about 5 or 6 mpg, so i traded for something that gets better gas mileage and i can actually drive home. Plus i haven't had much experience with dodge seeing as most people i know are too smart to get one . Funny you say that when my trucks sitting outside needing a new hub plenum gasket o2 sensors exhaust rusted brake lines the list goes on.

Don't regret it a bit. Drive it like I stole it and if it breaks it needed to be stronger.
The only down side is I'm now driving and intrepid I borrowed from work

Intrepids are cool. As long as it doesnt have that 2.7 in it from what i've heard. I've owned 2 300m's with the 3.5. Nice engine there! Congrats on the kill! I have a similar buddy w an eco-boost f-150. He gets mad when you tease him about it, lol. I know, I have a ford in my sig, but that little ecoboost is in a class all by itself. I like all kinds of different makes and models but have always been a mopar nut.

Its a 3.5. Shop bought it as a basket case with no motor. We put one in and now its a shop car for running parts and stuff. Its nice I'm just not a car guy

Ya it tore the splines right out of it and was just spinning in there. Im getting a 47re planetary today from a friend and she's going back together. Everything else looks good.
