Just a simple question,I’m trying to check my transmission fluid level and the level after driving it for 15 miles is between the 2 upper holles and 2 bottom holes,my manual said it got be between the 2 upper holes when hot,so I’m kind of confused now

I think the manual also references the trans temp oil us "hot" at 180 degrees. Which will take a bit more than 15 minutes of driving

But I drove it for 15 miles, almost 1 hour due to traffic with a 95 F oitside temperature,so I guess it was hot enough to check it

Thought you said 15 minutes. My temps have honestly never gotten close to 180
