I am just now finishing up my very first rebuild on my 47 RE automatic transmission.
But I have run into a snag. When I took my measurements of the over drive depths so I could check for the proper no. 10 thrust bearing plate, I found that I needed a .168 to .170. Which I do not have. The original is .198 which will make things a wee bit too tight.
Has any one by chance got the one I need?
I checked some of the tranny suppliers but they only sell packages of like 15 selective bearings and they want 50 buckes for the packs.
I will gladly pay a reasonable price for the part if anyone has it. Please let me know
