Transmission & Transfer Case Service

The old RAM finally turned over 100K recently and I need to get Trans and T Case serviced. Couple of questions: I don't feel comfortable doing it myself although I do the usual oil changes, fuel filters etc I would like someone who knows what they are doing on such an expensive component. Where do y'all get this work done? I would like to avoid the stealership if possible, are any of the chain Trans Shops (can't say Tranny anymore) any good? My closest "big city" is Hot Springs Arkansas, can anybody refer a shop in HS they prefer? While they are servicing should I upgrade any filters etc? What is the preferred fluid for Trans and T-Case? Thanks!

Transfer case is really easy to do, but as far as transmission goes..... I brought it to a local shop I trust.
