I was driving to work this morning and something I believe with the transmission went out. I felt a clunk, check engine light came on, and I had no power after that. Truck came to a stop, i tried to give it some gas, (diesel truck) it tries ever so slightly to go but you can tell something is fouled up. I tried putting it in neutral and it wouldn't even roll forward going downhill. Tried restarting the truck hoping it was something stupid but nope. Got it towed to a dealer. I have a edge juice w attitude programmer, but they assured me it wouldn't be a result of the product as it doesn't affect anything with the transmission. Anyone have any ideas as to what the hell is up with it? 18,000 miles

Hi hemiguy93,

Let me know the diagnosis from the dealership, and if you need further assistance.

Who assured you it wouldn't be a result of the product the dealer or Edge?

The programmer affects the motor which is bolted directly to the transmission. It definitely affects it.

The transmission is rated to handle # of power which was exceeded due to performance products is most likely what you're going to hear. FCA is going to give you the Heisman. Seen it far too many times in the past.

On another note, were you driving normally or aggressively? Was it during a downshift or anything?

Any word back yet on what the issue is?

I'm curious only because I have the same year and will roll over 18k miles soon.
