Those with DS trinitys. Has anyone ever had issues with any of the user adjustments?

With my 06 4.7l I can not adjust the rev limiter, wot shifts, and part throttle shifts and have them "stick". In other words they revert back to default as soon as I exit that specific parameter. Everything seems fine with the truck with the tune in. It's just not "accepting" my adjustments.

I've updated to the latest version but that didn't change anything. I called diablo Thursday and was on hold for nearly 50 minutes just for the tech to tell me to email him my last written tune. I have not heard back from him yet. Kind of lost right now.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to adjust a canned tune or one sent via a CMR tuner?

Adjusting a custom tune Sean sent me doesn't work either. He actually had set my rev limiter to 6300 and correct me if I'm wrong about this. If I manually hold 1st gear shouldn't it rev to 6300 no matter what?

user adjustments to the trans shift points never hold, thetuner auto adjusts them slightly kind of as a fail safe. need a custom tune for it to hold.

Ah I see. Is it the same for the rev limiter too?

Well that kinda sucks. I had hemifever raise the rev limiter but it still hits at 5800ish. That is when I hold the gears manually. I emailed him asking if he had adjusted the shift points on my tune but I am waiting for his response.

Thank you for the info. It has been the only answer I have gotten since I found the issue. Diablo seems to be ignoring it. I may go back to Superchips since all that was working. I miss the trans tuning anyway lol.

if it's hitting 5850rpm, it's a stock WOT shift point. It's alright for a truck without internals but the rev limiter should probably be bumped up another 100rpm which you can't do.

get a custom tuned trans file written. The guy who wrote mine completely and utterly changed the entire persona if how my truck drives with his tune. There are so many parameters that can be adjusted and tweaked that you can't do with the user settings on either the Diablo or superchips products.

Alright hemifever sent me a new trans tune earlier. I have it loaded up so ill try it out in the morning headed to work. I hope it works.

Diablo sport has been ZERO help so far. TBH I get the impression they have no interest in helping me. I emailed them again yesterday just to make sure they received my first email but no response on it either.

Alright new trans tune didnt work. Rev limiter can't be adjusted on my end or hemifever's end. He thinks rev limiter is off. I really don't know what to do. I may try whitelightning but hate to pay and it not work either.

If Hemifever can't do it then Whitelightning can't either. The 2011+ Hemis are having the same issue with Diablo right now.

He just sent me a new ECM file with a 6300 neutral/park rev. It revved pasted 4,000 and oddly my 1-2 wot shift point is now at 6,000. I'll take that as my winner. Now I just need to get diablo to find out why the part throttle up shifts and downshifts adjustments aren't working.

I have never been able to get Sean's tcm tune work. no matter what I tried his tune would never take. there is a procedure to get it to take though if it will take.

So without changing internals, what is a safe rev we can put the 5.7 to?
