Trivia Pursuit: Name this moulding

I’m putting my truck back together and I have two pieces of moulding left.

32 1/2” by 1 1/2”.

Anyone know where they go?

Somewhere on a door?

Soft bend.

I’ll check out the space between the bed and cab.

I hope it’s not that I just bolted the bed down.

Nope can’t find a spot for it on the bed.

And there’s no writing on it.

If they go in between the cab and bed, the go on the bed and slide in the front edge of the bed from the top and slide down toward the bottom of the bed. There should be a little lip they slide into. If that isn't were they belong--thats all I got--

Well folks it took a while but I found out where this moulding goes.

I happen to be getting some work done at a local mechanic and I noticed a Dodge Ram in the parking lot. I asked the owner if I could have a look at his truck to find out where these pieces of molding went.

Slightly amused he said no problem.

It took a while but the molding is part of the rear doors. It looks to be some type of splash guard between the rear and front doors.

One problem solved.
