Hello all, I would like to share my recent vehicle troubles to gather a wider perspective of knowledge. So to sum up what is going on my truck seems to act up when it rains. First occurrence my truck drove like it was running out of gas then eventually stalled. After checking spark and fuel I cornered it down to bad injectors since fuel pressure was good and starting fluid started her right up. New BOSCH injectors installed vroom truck started right up. I wondered how all the injectors could go bad but when I dropped the tank it had a decent amount of water and contamination since the lock rings were rotted out and disintegrated which lead me to believe was the cause of the injectors failing.
After a few days go by it rains again I did drive for a bit but when I came back to the truck it would not start. I immediately noticed there wasn't the usual loud fuel pump sound but I could hear a faint sound when I would get close to the tank. I setup a test light to the fuel pump turn key to on and the test light turns on for the priming duration. I bought a fuel pump but I am hesitant to install it because deep down I really think the TIPM is really the cause or maybe a bad ground some where.
Does anyone have a good ground schematic the alldata I have gives me nothing but these 8-w13 locations which makes no sense to me. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
