I'm about to pull the trigger on the CST 7'' lift. I have everything sorted out except tires.

I want the 35x12.5 Nitto Terra Grapplers but they are 13'' wide and I'm afraid they won't look that good (ballooning etc). I don't want the Mudd Grapplers, too much highway driving.

I've had the 320/60/20 BFG's and loved them but at $500+ per tire. Nope!

I'm looking at the Toyo Open Country ATII and the reviews I've read say it's pretty noisy. At 55mph ok, 60-65 holy cow, 70-75 not bad etc.. I'm willing to accept a little howl but someone actually said these tires "whine". 50K mile guarantee.

What say you the masses?

Wheel I'm going with is 20x9, 4.53bs, -12mm

Thanks.

You will be fine with those tires on a 9" wheel..you could even run a 13.50 on a 9" and be fine..side walls will balloon a little more but will wear fine..I've never heard of either of those tires to be loud at all..any all terrain won't have to much noise..I'm use to mud tires though, but terra grapplers are quiet i know. My trail grapplers aren't even that loud

Love my toyo mt performance wise. I waited for weeks for the at2s and gave up. If they made in a 37 that would no doubt be my next tire.

Had the at1's on my f250 in 35 and they were great with no road noise.

I just wish they made all of the at II's in the extreme versions. The more defined lugs and sidwalls is a huge difference. THey look so good. If I jump to e a 4" lift, I'm going to run these in a 35" flavor.

I have the CST, and the 35's will look great on there, mine has 305/55/20 on there now they are 33 inches, it needs more with this lift, ALSO remember that the CST will make the front tires stick out about 1.5 inches more than they did stock, with the 4 inch spindles, you will need rear spacers, get the good ones not the cheap ones , I have the hub concentric and also they are wheel concentric, they cost a little more but I tow woth mine all the time, and check them often, they dont budge, they fit so snug ,you have a very hard time getting them off, if you need them off. the balance is what i want to be good, it is perfect ...

And this is what 305/55/20 look on stock rims with the push out from the Spindles on the front

Thanks Jeff. I think I only need spacers if I'm keeping the stock wheels, which I'm not but I'll double check. Also, CST came out with a new CAST spindle that's a little bit lighter and about $200 cheaper. I'll post up when I'm done to see if there is a big difference.

Thanks everyone for the opinions so far!!
